The BT Lifter Standard is a versatile hand pallet truck suitable for most applications. It is designed to enhance productivity and efficiency in lifting and moving loads up to 2.3 tonnes.
A PPT operator uses a powered pallet truck (pedestrian), also known as a PPT. This electric, low-level lifting and moving forklift is ideal for light-duty tasks such as horizontal transport, loading/unloading, and order picking. The operator walks with the machine, either in front or behind.
For better manoeuvrability, it’s recommended to pull rather than push loads on flat surfaces. Pulling allows the operator to move ahead of the truck, ensuring they can spot and avoid hazards.
To operate a manual forklift:
- Position the forks under the load.
- Pump the handle to lift the load.
- Move the forklift to the desired location.
- Lower the load by releasing the hydraulic pressure.
- Ensure the load is stable and secure throughout the process.
