LPG is cold and can cause burns; handle it with care. Once released, LPG is heavier than air and can accumulate in low areas, where it can ignite from static electricity, electrical sparks, or hot surfaces.
Yes, propane forklifts can be used indoors if they are well-maintained and operated in a ventilated environment.
LPG consists of hydrocarbons with three or four carbon atoms, primarily propane (C3H8) and butane (C4H10). It burns readily in the air, has an energy content similar to petrol, and produces twice the heat energy of natural gas.
A standard 8-gallon (33-pound) propane tank typically lasts about eight hours. Larger 10-gallon (43-pound) tanks are also available for more demanding tasks.
Never refuel a forklift with the engine running to avoid igniting the fuel. Always follow safe parking procedures before refuelling.
