Our forklift training programmes cover all levels of experience and a broad spectrum of truck types. Whether you’re a complete beginner, an experienced driver without certification, or a qualified operator needing refresher training or cross-certification, we have a course for you.

Novice Basic Courses

Perfect for individuals with no prior forklift experience. This comprehensive course ensures compliance with the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines under the Approved Code of Practice.

  • 3 days = 1 delegate
  • 4 days = 2 delegates
  • 5 days = 3 delegates

The course combines classroom theory with real-time hands-on training. Delegates will learn how to inspect equipment, assess hazards, maintain load stability, and complete tasks under supervision before progressing to independent operation.

Conversion Course

For operators already certified on one type of forklift who need to convert their skills to a different model. It includes both theory and practical modules to ensure safe operation of the new truck type.

9 Series Forklift FI 1

Experienced Basic Course

Intended for operators with hands-on experience but no formal training. Covers legal requirements, standard safety procedures, and hands-on demonstration of skill.

Refresher & Retest Course

Recommended every 3–5 years, this course reassesses operator skills to maintain compliance and reduce the risk of workplace incidents. Updated regulations, safety expectations, and best practices are included.

Familiarisation Course

Introduces operators to a new truck model within the same equipment class. Reinforces safe use, operating limitations, and differences in controls or visibility.

Attachment Course

This course strengthens understanding of safe towing methods, particularly in high-traffic production or logistics environments. Topics include tractor-trailer configurations, hitching best practices, and stop/start load control.

Reach Trucks

Covers efficient operation in high-racking systems and narrow spaces. Trainees master hydraulic control functions, emergency protocols, and visual awareness through structured practical assessments.

Hand and Powered Pallet Trucks

Order Pickers

Focused on vertical retrieval in active warehouse environments. Training includes floor surface assessments, correct posture techniques, safe picking strategies, and the use of fall protection equipment when applicable.

Access Equipment

We offer comprehensive training on all categories of access platforms, from low-level personnel lifts to articulated boom lifts reaching up to 20 metres. Delegates are trained in equipment inspection, safe usage zones, platform stability, and emergency lowering procedures.

  • Up to six delegates per day (three per session) for low-level platforms
  • Up to three delegates per day for high-level platforms. Customisation is available based on platform type and your business needs.
